Omegna – Day 4 – Part 3 – The Forum Omegna

The Museum of Arts and Industry, of the Forum Omegna, is set in four rooms, on two floors.  Admission is free.  If you find yourself in Omegna, pay the place a visit.  It will not take up too much of your time, and I found it to be a pleasant way to spend part of my afternoon.

In addition to sculpture and other forms of art, the museum focuses on objects that have influenced the household industry in Italy, and around the world.  Items on display tell the story of Omegna’s industrial history, from the early 19th century, up until the modern day.

Two large iron reliefs, one on each side of the walkway, honor the factory that once stood on this site.

Next up: We attempt a visit to the Santuario della Madonna del Popolo!
