After a light lunch, back in the apartment, the rain seemed to stop, and so, we took advantage of the situation, and headed back outside.

The Forum of Omegna, or the Museum of Arts and Industry of Omegna, is located in the Parco della Fantasia “Gianni Rodari,” a park area filled with sculptures from Rodari’s books, as well as play areas, a café, and a shop.  The museum opened in 1998, and was built on the site of the old Cobianchi Iron Works.  Remnants, of the space’s industrial past, are visible everywhere.
