After a four hour high-speed train ride, we arrived at our next destination, Naples, or Napoli, as the Italians call it. I had been there once before, and back then, I was a bit turned off by the city. I heard that many changes had taken place there, and that it was much safer now. So, it was time to give it another try! We rented an apartment close to the waterfront area, for the duration of our stay.

The highlight of the apartment was the beautiful terrace!

After we got settled in a bit, we headed out to explore our new neighborhood.

Being on an upper floor of the apartment building, we considered ourselves lucky that there was an elevator at our disposal! It was tiny, but two people could fit in it, as long as they did not have any luggage, or large bags.

Next up: We start familiarizing ourselves with the area!
