For our third day in Ischia, our plan was to slowly make our way over to the Castello Aragonese. It is an easy and lovely walk, from the port area to the castle, and so, we began wandering along the main street of the town, headed in that direction.

The sculpture titled “Gesù, Fate Luce,” or “Jesus, Shed Some Light,” is the work of Lello Esposito, and dates from 1995.

As we walked, we could see our destination, off in the distance.

By this point, we were a little hungry, and so, we stopped for a bite to eat, and some wine.

Next up: We begin our visit of the Castello Aragonese of Ischia!
