For this stay in Milan, which was our last stop before flying back to the United States, we chose an apartment that was situated right at the edge of the Navigli area of the city. The apartment was large, modern, and had everything we needed, to make our stay a comfortable and relaxing one.

The windows of the apartment opened up onto small balconies.

As we always do, once we were settled in, we headed out, to acquaint ourselves with the neighborhood, and to pick up some supplies, like coffee and breakfast items.

Officina Milano is a trendy bar/lounge that also offers food. It was located right across the street from our apartment building, down what looked like an alley. We did not get a chance to check it out on this trip, but maybe we will, sometime in the future.

Nearby, we found the spot where the city repaired the tram cars.

At Piazza Tito Lucrezio Caro, #1, you will find M.A.C. (Music, Art, Culture), a cultural center that offers performances, exhibits, and meeting spaces.

Also on the same piazza, you will find the Oratorio Gentilino.

The center of the piazza is made up of a green, park-like area.

Next up: We continue to explore, as we settle in to our new space in Milan!
