I was utterly charmed by the small, ceramic house numbers, and the decorative details that many of the homes were adorned with.
Tables for the fishermen to display their catch still fill the square where the old fish market used to be. Today, it is more of a place to sit and relax, as the market is now indoors, just a few feet away.
Next up: We have a late afternoon drink and, as we continue exploring, we end our first day in Burano with a delicious meal at a local restaurant!
