Milan – Day 3 – Part 2 – A Shrine to Armani, and A Delicious Dinner

A plaque marks the building where Elio Vittorini, an Italian writer best known for his novel Conversations in Sicily, lived from 1953, until his death in 1966.

Our destination for the afternoon was Armani/Silos.  Located at Via Bergognone, #40, this is a shrine to all things Armani.  On display, there are 400 outfits, as well as 200 accessories from the Armani collection, dating from 1980 to the present day.  Admission is €12.00 per person, and tickets may be purchased online, in advance, even though we had no problem buying them, when we arrived at the museum.  There were only a few other people in the place at the time of our visit, but I imagine that during Fashion Week, or peak tourist seasons, it may be a bit more crowded.

Dinner was at Belé Ristorante, which is found at Via Fumagalli, #3.

Next up: After being stuck in a pandemic for two years, we begin to travel again!
