Carini – Day 2 – Part 3 – A Farewell Walk Around the City

We continued to make our way through the Castello di Carini, or the Castle of Carini.

One room contained a model of the castle, as it would have looked at the time of its completion.

As you near the end of the visit to the castle, you proceed along a suspended walkway over what appears to be a library room of some sort, except that its shelves are empty of books.

The view, from the castle walls, was wonderful!

With our visit to the castle completed, we continued to walk around the town for a bit longer.

The Torre di Vita dates from the 18th century.

The Chiesa dei Cappuccini is at Via Antonino Curreri, #160.

Next up: We leave the island of Sicily behind, and return to Bella Roma!
