Before beginning our twenty-minute walk, back to the hotel, we decided to stop for a bit of a refreshment, in the form of the Giardini Ravino’s famous Cactus Cocktail, a delicious mixture of cactus juice, passion fruit, tequila, and tonic water. In fact, it was so good that we had two each!

As we sat, enjoying our cocktails, we were visited by another of the garden’s residents.

That night, for dinner, we chose to head into the town of Forio. We ate at Ristorante Core a Core, and enjoyed every bite! We dined on both, raw and cooked fish. Our antipasti included oysters, and a plate of various types of raw seafood. We then dined on a fritto misto, mixed fried fish, including monkfish, served with fried artichokes, over a potato cream. A green salad, and fried potatoes, completed the main courses.

Next up: We arrive in Rome, for the first time in years, and are confronted with changes that have taken place since the pandemic!
