The Bosco Verticale, or the Vertical Forest, is located at Via Gaetano de Castillia, #11.  This is a pair of residential buildings designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti.  The buildings are considered, not only a symbol of the city, but also a model of green living.  The two towers house 800 trees, 4,500 shrubs, as well as 20,000 other plant species, all placed according to the exposure of the sun, on the facades of the buildings.

The Casa della Memoria is at Via Federico Confalonieri, #14.  This is a cultural center dedicated to those who fought against Nazism and Fascism, as well as to the victims of terrorism around the world.  The space hosts exhibitions, performances, and events in the public spaces of the ground floor.  It is open to visitors Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:30am to 6:00pm, and admission is free.  The facade is what drew my attention, as it features eleven portraits done in brick, all taken from historical photographs.

I find the graffiti more interesting in Europe!

The Palazzo Lombardia is a building complex that houses the Regional Council, and other government offices.  It is in Piazza Città di Lombardia, the largest covered square in Europe.
